Aug 8, 2026: Belle's Picks & Props ⚾️

August 13, 2026

Today's Picks

-TOR Blue Jays v PHI Phillies Over 9.5 (-115) | 0.5 Units

-COL Rockies v STL Cardinals Over 8.5 (-115) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

TOR Blue Jays v PHI Phillies: Blue Jays starter Max Scherzer (7.92 ERA) has had a couple nice outings recently, but I don’t think he’ll be able to keep the Phillies offense at bay. Scherzer’s last meeting with Philadelphia saw him allow 5 hits and 5 earned runs. On the other side, Aaron Nola (5.55 ERA) is an abysmal 0-4 at home with a 6.47 ERA in Philly. This game should see plenty of scoring; I’m on the Over to cash.

COL Rockies v STL Cardinals: Kyle Freeland (6.81 ERA) is horrible on the road; the man is 0-7 away from home and has allowed a ridiculous 15 runs across just his last 3 road outings. St. Louis should have no issue running up a score here, so I’m on the Over to hit.

Today's Picks

-TOR Blue Jays v PHI Phillies Over 9.5 (-115) | 0.5 Units

-Athletics v BOS Red Sox Under 9.0 (-115) | 0.25 Units

-COL Rockies v STL Cardinals Over 8.5 (-115) | 0.25 Units

-STL Cardinals Team Total Over 4.5 (-115) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

Athletics v BOS Red Sox: The Red Sox have been playing lights out since the second half of this season started – I’m stunned. And, while I don’t typically like starter Gage Jump (4.59 ERA), he didn’t allow a single run in his last outing against Boston. Comically, Jump’s last start against the Red Sox also saw Jake Bennett (2.90 ERA) on the mound, who allowed just 3 runs. With Boston’s bullpen playing as well as they are, I just can’t see this game reaching the high total projection. My money’s on the Under today, friends.

☕ Belle's First Cup

August 13, 2026

Coffee, conversation & today’s best bet.

First Sips

Weekend sports is upon us, friends! My coffee is extra strong this morning after last night’s last second Pick of the Day bust. Toronto and Philly went into the bottom of the 9th with 7 runs on the board…I felt so safe. And then, the Blue Jays BP let it all go to shit and Philly scored 2, squashing our Under wager. Let’s walk it off betting fam – today’s a new day! Fun fact: I’ll be launching our mobile app "first access" list this afternoon 🤩🙌🏼 If you’d like to be one of the first to download it, keep your eyes peeled, and put yourself on that list. Alright, on to today's play...

Pick of the Day

-TOR Blue Jays v PHI Phillies Over 9.5 (-115) | 0.5 Units

Blue Jays starter Max Scherzer (7.92 ERA) has had a couple nice outings recently, but I don’t think he’ll be able to keep the Phillies offense at bay.

Aug 7, 2026: Belle's Picks & Props ⚾️

August 7, 2026

Today's Picks

-TOR Blue Jays v PHI Phillies Under 8.0 (-115) | 0.5 Units

-DET Tigers -1.5 (+125) | 0.5 Units

Why These Picks?

TOR Blue Jays v PHI Phillies: This is an easy pick for me, friends. Both Jose Soriano (3.29 ERA) and Zack Wheeler (2.49 ERA) are solid pitchers, and to say that the Blue Jays offense is struggling would be an understatement. In addition, Soriano is better on the road than he is at home – I think he’ll be able to keep the Philly offense in check. Take the Under to hit.

DET Tigers v SF Giants: The Tigers have been putting way too many runs on the board for me to think this total stays low. Hell, Detroit has been cashing “Over” projections all by themselves. At the time of writing, San Francisco has yet to decide who their starter for today will be, but to be frank, it doesn’t matter. The Giants’ offense has been on the struggle bus for quite some time now, and the Tigers’ last 6 straight wins have been by at least two. With their offense taking down some of the best, I’ll toss a nice chunk of change on Detroit to cover the RL for a solid plus-money return.

CHI Cubs v KC Royals: Between the Cubs starting Kevin Gausman and the Royals playing a bullpen game, this encounter has the potential to go to the moon total-wise. Gausman has been brutal this season; so despite being the underdog in today’s game, I won’t be surprised if the Royals do far better than expected. I think both clubs will manage to get at least 4 on the board, so I’m on the Over to cash.
