And with Mets starter Sean Manaea (4.31 ERA) having allowed 8 runs on 11 hits in his last 2 games, I’d be shocked if Milwaukee couldn’t pull off the victory. Now to be fair, 4 of Manaea’s last 5 starts have equated to a NY win, but a majority of those successes were against far lesser offenses. My money’s on the Brew Crew to cover the RL this evening.

HOU Astros v NY Yankees: The Yankees have really turned up over the last couple of weeks, and Gerrit Cole hasn’t allowed more than 2 runs in any of his last 5 games. On the other side, while Hayden Wesneski is far from terrible, I just think he’s allowing too many runs more than Cole, and I don’t think he’ll get the run support he needs from the Houston offense. I’ll take New York to win by 2 for the nice plus-money return.

Good morning, all – Thursday is upon us! I hope you’re having a great week so far. How about those Cleveland Guardians yesterday? Unbelievable. I’m glad they decided to turn up there at the end because I hopped on +2.5 live, but geez…they certainly didn’t do anything good for POTD. That said, let’s not dwell – the month is still looking nice and green 💚😌 Fun fact: we are just 12 days out from the return of football season! I’m going after the plus-money here, friends. Cleveland starter Joey Cantillo (3.73 ERA) hasn’t allowed more than 1 run in any of his last 3 outings. On the other side, while Grayson Rodriguez (6.41 ERA) had a good last game against the Astros, 4 of his last 5 trips to the mound have resulted in a loss for the Angels. I know LA will be trying to avoid the sweep, but the Guardians have won both games in this series so far by 2, and Rodriguez has been brutal at home (let's not forget about that god-awful Angels bullpen...). I’m on the visitors to cover the RL.

TB Rays v DET Tigers: Not only have the Tigers been in rough shape lately, but Detroit starter Jackson Jobe’s (4.50 ERA) performance has been an absolute crapshoot. On the other side, the Rays are rolling with their bullpen this evening. With both offenses being incredibly capable, this game has all the potential in the world to see a double-digit total. I’m on the Over to hit.

PIT Pirates v SD Padres: I hate to say it (do I?), but Paul Skenes (3.95 ERA) on the mound just has not equated to wins for the Pirates. In addition, Pittsburgh’s offense has struggled immensely. With the Padres being a solid 40-27 at home and starter Michael King (3.38 ERA) being the better arm in this matchup (at least lately…) I think San Diego locks down a victory here. To boot, 4 of King’s last 5 home outings have resulted in a Padres win. I’m on the San Diego ML here, friends.
