Friends, I’m in mourning. Daulton Varsho, formerly of the Toronto Blue Jays, has been traded to the Houston Astros. If you know me at all…particularly via my sound offs in our Discord community, you know that one: I’m Canadian. And two, that I love Daulton Varsho. I’m in pain, betting fam. To make matters worse, we got Spencer Arrighetti in exchange?! Arrighetti started this season off strong but the man has been abysmal over the last bit. If you follow the Blue Jays at all, you know that the last thing we need is another pitcher who allows 21 runs over the course of 5 starts. Now, to counteract this terrible news: I’m pleased to report that the Jays have decided to get rid of Jeff Hoffman! Again, if you’re a member of our Discord community, you know how many 9th innings this man has cost my sanity over the last couple of years 😅 I have to laugh, I got a Daulton Varsho Blue Jays jersey just a few weeks ago…my joy was short-lived.
