Aug 21, 2025: Sweep (3/3) 💰🧹! Post-Game Recap ☕️

August 21, 2025

What a night, betting fam – time for a little post-game recap (+ nightcap!) Fun fact: we hit ALL of our picks today (3/3)! 🎉 A huge congratulations to everyone that tailed, and for those curious, here's what we had:

Picks (3/3)

-BOS Red Sox v NY Yankees Over 8.0 (-120)

-BOS Red Sox Team Total Over 3.5 (-115)

-SD Padres -1.5 (+115)

I have to say, Roman Anthony hitting that HR for us in the 9th inning was a total lifesaver for Pick of the Day

As for the other pick on today's list, the San Diego Padres absolutely crushed it against the SF Giants, final total 8-4 for a nice +115 return 😌

Lastly, I have to ask...what the f*** is going on with the New York Mets? They took an early lead against the Washington Nationals and then absolutely blew it (3-9 was the final score). Unfortunately they were the only thing that tanked today's parlay. BUT...I won't dwell – we had a good day friends, so let's walk that one off.

Alright everyone, that's all I've got for this evening. As always, I'll see you all bright and early to beat the books 😉

X

Aug 21, 2025: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays (Premium) ⚾️

August 23, 2025

Today's Picks

-BOS Red Sox v NY Yankees Over 8.0 (-120) | 0.5 Units

-BOS Red Sox Team Total Over 3.5 (-115) | 0.25 Units

-SD Padres -1.5 (+115) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

BOS Red Sox v NY Yankees: With Luis Gil (5.14 ERA) only having a handful of games under his belt this season, I think the underdog has a solid chance of running the show here. Gil’s only 3 starts have seen him accumulate 8 Earned Runs on 16 hits. In short: He hasn’t been great. On the other side, Lucas Giolito (3.63 ERA) has allowed 15 hits over his last 3 outings. With the Yankees offense being on a bit of a tear (they’ve scored 27 runs in just their last 3 games, cashing the Over in their last 4 straight…) I don’t doubt they’ll get more than a few on the board despite Giolito having a strong last few outings. My money’s on the Over to hit today and on the Red Sox to put at least 4 runs on the board, friends.

SF Giants v SD Padres: Giants starter Justin Verlander’s (4.23 ERA) last 4 straight starts have resulted in a loss for San Francisco. In addition, the Padres have an exceptional home record at 40-21. San Diego starter Dylan Cease (4.61 ERA) has locked down a win in his last 3 straight home starts, and with the Giants having won just 2 of their last 11 games, my money’s on the Padres to bag a victory and cover the RL.

Aug 20, 2025: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays

August 23, 2025

Today's Picks

-The Athletics v MIN Twins Over 9.0 (-115) | 0.5 Units

-NY Mets -1.5 (-105) | 0.25 Units

-NY Mets v WAS Nationals Under 9.0 (-110) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

The Athletics v MIN Twins: This is a high-scoring affair in my mind, friends. Athletics starter J.T. Ginn (5.04 ERA) has allowed 12 runs and 4 HRs and in just his last 3 starts. Meanwhile, the team’s offense has bagged no less than 5 runs in their last 4 straight starts. On the other side, starter Bailey Ober (5.15 ERA) has allowed 16 hits and 3 HRs in his last 3 outings. I think this game turns into a shootout – take the Over to cash.

NY Mets v WAS Nationals: The last 4 straight encounters between the Mets and the Nationals have seen 9 runs or less. In addition, 4 of Brad Lord’s (3.26 ERA) last 5 starts have seen 7 runs or fewer. To be frank, Lord is one of Washington’s better pitchers (despite his RP status), but I still like the Mets offense to win by at least 2. My money’s on the Under to hit here and on NY to cover the RL.
