South Carolina v Florida: After taking a rough loss last week to Missouri, I suspect the Florida offense will be highly motivated to show out here at home. I say I often (you know I do…) but I love a good high-scoring Gators game. None of Florida’s 5 games so far have seen less than 55 points, and South Carolina hasn’t allowed fewer than 35 points in any of their last 3 encounters with tough-to-beat teams. The only reason I think the book has a slight lean towards the Under is because Tampa QB Baker Mayfield is sitting this one out, and the backup rookie may not deliver enough to see this game crack 49 points. That said, the Buccaneers are 0-4, preparation for this week’s game was likely operating in ‘we’re desperate for a win’ mode. Fun fact: Tampa is just 2-13 in Dallas, but with the Cowboys being so terrible at stopping opposing run game, I’m not sure Jalon Daniels will have to do a whole lot.
