The final score won’t be close, and the Patriots are putting way too many points on the board for me to entertain the Under. I’m on NE to cover a very reasonable -3.5 & on the Over to hit.

I’ll be honest, I think this matchup is going to get ugly fast – the Sabres have won 13 of their last 14 outings, and they’ve won their last 5 straight home games. Assuming Luukkonen will get the start, the home team should come into this encounter with every advantage. Meanwhile, the Ducks have lost their last 4 road games by at least 3 goals. I’m on the Sabres to bag a win in regulation here. I’ll also toss cash on the Sabres to score at least 4, as the Ducks have allowed 4+ in each of their last 7 outings.

DAL Stars v SJ Sharks: San Jose’s last 11 straight games have seen 6 goals or more (10 of the last 11 have seen at least 7…) I don’t doubt that this encounter will follow suit. The Sharks have had no issue scoring as of late, and perhaps to everyone’s surprise, have won 5 of their last 6 games. That said, despite going through a rough patch, Dallas hasn’t put less than 3 goals on the board in any of their last 4 outings. The Over should cash with ease here, friends.

CAL Flames v PIT Penguins: The Flames’ road trip is off to an abysmal start, and I think it only gets worse here. The Penguins are on a roll having won their last 6 games, and Calgary has been brutal away from home all season. I’ll happily bet on Sidney Crosby & company to stay hot and bag this victory without the need for OT.
