Now, down to betting business. First off, I’m choked. My two favourite picks for yesterday were DAL Mavericks v MIA Heat Under 240.5 & the Heat to Cover… I thought for literally two cups of coffee about which should be Pick of the Day! The Under cashed easily (hooray!) but the one I chose for Pick of the Day unfortunately flopped. November, you’re a cruel mistress where POTD is concerned. I know Norman Powell was out, but Tyler Herro crushed it in his return! The spread should’ve been an easy cover in my opinion given how many points Miami has been putting on the board, but alas… 

For those curious, here’s what we had yesterday:

Don’t get me wrong, the day wasn’t terrible by any stretch of the imagination – but it certainly was a weird one. I don’t think I’ve ever seen two Quarterbacks throw so many interceptions in one game 😂 What on EARTH was that 49ers/Panthers? Did either QB know which team they were playing for? Unbelievable. As soon as the third interception was thrown I knew the Over was toast.

That said, Brock Purdy and Bryce Young made it real difficult for props yesterday – but we still managed 2/5. Far from great, but I’m glad we got something out of our smaller wagers.

DAL Mavericks v MIA Heat: Miami is the far better team here, friends. The Heat have been on fire offensively while Dallas has lost 7 of their last 10. Have they kept some close games? Sure – but they haven’t been putting nearly as many points on the board as Miami. And I know, Miami is on a back-to-back, but that hasn’t stopped them from putting points on the board in recent past (see Nov 7 & 8, 2025). Having scored less than 100 points in 2 of their last 4 outings, I just don’t see the Mavericks keeping up here. I’m on the home team to cover. As for the total, while the Miami Heat offense is fire lately, Dallas hasn’t been putting nearly enough points on the board for me to entertain 240. The only 2 outings in Dallas’ last 10 that have cashed Over 240 required OT – the other 8 matchups haven’t touched 240. I’m on the Under.

CAR Panthers v SF 49ers: I admit, the Panthers have been playing much better than I anticipated over the last few weeks – but the 49ers defense is a different beast, friends. I also have a hard time picturing Carolina's defense doing anything even remotely effective trying to stop Christian McCaffrey. That said, I do think the Panthers will bag a TD or two despite the fact that San Francisco's offense should easily find the end zone. Not to take away from Carolina's solid season, but the games they've won so far have been easy street for the most part (lol). For all of these reasons, I'm on both the home team to cover and on the Over to hit.
