Why This Pick?
The Yankees finally took a loss yesterdayā¦but I still donāt plan on stepping in front of them in their current form. New York has won 9 of their last 10 games, and every single win in that streak was by at least 2 runs. On the other side, the Rangers havenāt been anything to write home about. I have a tough time thinking that their lukewarm offense will get much past Max Fried (2.40 ERA), who is 3-0 on the road with a formidable 0.92 ERA away from Yankee Stadium. To be frank, I think the Yankees batting lineup gets to Jack Leiter (4.97 ERA) early. Iām on NY to cover the RL this evening.
