Good morning (or afternoon...), friends! Holy, did last night ever deliver. I'm still buzzing – we took the books to the cleaners on that Mets/Phillies game. If you're curious about what we had, go check out the recap post! I'm thrilled to report that MLB is back in full-swing today; the schedule is absolutely massive. And, not to make this all about me for a moment, but fun fact: It's my Birthday tomorrow 🎉 Why am I telling you this? Because every time I've had a Birthday since starting Belle's Picks, I've thought, "I can't believe our community is X years old!" This is our third year battling the books, friends. Whether you've been here since the beginning or are just finding us, I can't thank you enough for your support! I don't want to jinx it (knock on wood...), but we've come out of every year we've been in business "green" against the book so far 🙌🏼 That said, I plan on celebrating this accomplishment tomorrow as well. Keep your eyes peeled in the Discord, I'll be dropping some fun parlays & round robin slips!

Troy Melton (1.82 ERA) has been great for Detroit, and to be honest, I can't believe the Tigers are priced so well in this spot. Melton hasn't allowed more than a single run in any of his last 4 outings, while Angels starter Reid Detmers (4.39 ERA) is 0-4 at home. And, unless LA is coming out of the All-Star Break with a completely new bullpen (spoiler alert: they're not...) Detroit should have little issue bagging this win. I'm on the visitors to secure a victory here.
