First Sips
Good morning, friends – happy midweek! Oh gosh, what a week it’s been already. I’ve had no fewer than 100K+ things on my to-do list in preparation for app launch, and at the same time, our community is growing! If you’re new here, welcome ☺️ Fun personal fact: I’ve been getting up painfully early these days in an attempt to stay not overwhelmed (lol). Don’t laugh, but I’ve been putting Harry Potter ambiance on the big screen in the mornings and wow…it’s giving my house ultimate cozy Autumn vibes! I know, I’m such a nerd...but try it before you laugh your ass off. Alright, back to sports – let’s talk about the Wemby stopper! Holy shit, Victor Wembanyama couldn’t get past Aday Mara to save his life last night. The stats? Wemby was 1-13 on FGs & 0-4 from 3! Unbelievable. It was an amazing game to watch, but damn – if Wemby had scored literally anything our Pick of the Day would’ve been in the bag easy. The good news? The Carolina Hurricanes came through and covered the PL last night in Vancouver, and Player Props cashed 2/3…so the night wasn’t a total bust. Alright everyone, here’s today’s play:
Pick of the Day
-BKN Nets ML (-105) | 0.5 Units
I think it’s going to take some time for the Hornets to adjust to being without LaMelo Ball; the man was their primary firepower for the better part of the last 6 seasons. In addition, the Nets have fared far better against the Hornets at home than they ever have on the road (Brooklyn has won 2 of their last 3 home games against Charlotte). My money’s on the Nets to bag a win tonight.
