Coffee, conversation & today’s best bet.
First Sips
Happy weekend, everyone! I hope you're all up & caffeinated. It's that time of year where waking up early is absolutely painful because it's still dark outside at 7AM PST 😅😭 I won't take up too much time with 'First Sips' this morning, BUT: Hell yes, to the Toronto Raptors covering the spread last night! A big congratulations if you tailed yesterday's Pick of the Day – talk about cutting it close! The spread was -8.5, Toronto won by 10 🔥 Hopefully today's play is less of a sweat. Speaking of, here it is...
Pick of the Day
-BUF Sabres v WAS Capitals Over 6.5 (-120) | 0.5 Units
Why This Pick?
4 of the last 5 meetings between these two squads have easily cashed the Over, friends. In addition, both of today’s confirmed goaltenders are allowing 3+ goals per game. Washington is far from short on firepower these days; the Capitals have bagged 11 goals over their last 3 games. On the other side, Buffalo hasn’t allowed fewer than 4 goals in any of their last 4 outings. I’m on the Over to hit this evening.
