Good afternoon, friends! My ‘first sips’ are coming at you a bit late today, mainly because I already inundated you with last night’s post-game recap earlier this morning…but fear not! I’m caffeinated and ready to roll 😆 I’m thrilled with last night’s picks. Buffalo absolutely dominated the Detroit Lions (as predicted…), and to be honest, I have no clue how the book had that spread set at just -5.5/+5.5. After watching the Lions have trouble taking down the New Orleans Saints last weekend, I couldn’t imagine this matchup being a close one (sorry, Detroit fans!) In short? I’m thrilled the Bills got us paid! Alright everyone, here’s today’s play…

Why This Pick?
While I highly suspect the Twins will clap back here after their loss to the Angels yesterday, I like the idea of putting my money on a high-scoring affair far better. Grayson Rodriguez (6.10 ERA) is worse at home than his already lacklustre 6.10 ERA suggests, and Minnesota starter Connor Prielipp (5.24 ERA) is an abysmal 0-4 on the road. Both offenses should get their fair share of runs on the board this evening – take the Over to cash.
