Happy midweek, friends! And may I start this cup of coffee off by saying: WE ARE EXACTLY 1 WEEK OUT FROM NFL SEASON KICKOFF 🙌🏽 September 9th can’t get here soon enough. To boot, the first game of the season is a great one – Super Bowl rematch, here we come! And, as much as I’ve been hyping up the NFL season returning, the NCAAF season is also underway – which means college ball picks are SO BACK 🤩🔥🏈 Plenty to get excited about! That said, MLB is already on the move this morning, so without further ado, here’s today’s play…

White Sox starter Davis Martin (4.32 ERA) has had a rough go, friends – the man has allowed a ridiculous 21 runs over his last 5 starts, and today he’s returning after a few weeks on the IL. I can’t imagine that he’s not at least a bit rustier than he was when he left (and as I mentioned, he wasn’t great before…) I think Houston is going to run up an early score here, so I’ll take the Astros to put at least 5 runs in the bag today.
