Good morning, friends – Happy Labor Day (to those in Canada & the U.S.)! I hope you’re BBQ’ing something good and/or doing absolutely nothing on this last Summer holiday. Oh man, yesterday’s Athletics/Mariners game was the epitome of boring; Bryan Woo decided to pitch the game of his life (which is fine..), but the Seattle offense decided to do the bare minimum even in their plight to avoid getting swept. Oh well, it’s a new day! And today’s Pick of the Day is a juicy one ☺️ Here’s what I’m rolling with…

The Dodgers are being wildly overvalued in this spot if you ask me. None of Emmett Sheehan’s (5.29 ERA) last 5 starts have brought the Dodgers a win, meanwhile Reds starter Chase Burns (2.79 ERA) is an impressive 7-2 on the road. It’s a bold play, I admit – but Cincinnati is coming off back-to-back series wins over the San Diego Padres and the Milwaukee Brewers. I’ll happily bet on the Reds for the big plus-money bag here.
