TOR Blue Jays v WAS Nationals: This total is set where it is for a reason, friends – and I love that it’s currently sitting at even money. The Blue Jays haven’t won any of Max Scherzer’s last 5 starts, and the man has allowed a whopping 12 runs over just his last two outings.  Meanwhile, Washington pitcher Andrew Alvarez (4.22 ERA) has allowed a healthy number of runs at home. With Toronto seemingly starting to find their offense again against the Boston Red Sox, I think this game will find itself at 11 runs pretty quick. Take the Over to cash.

HOU Astros v LA Angels: Once the starters come out, I think this game could go to the moon simply because of how unreliable the Angels bullpen notoriously is. That said, Astros pitcher Tatsuya Imai has had a great last couple of games, and LA’s Walbert Urena hasn’t allowed more than a single run in any of his last 3 starts. I’ll take the first 5 innings to stay under 4.5.
