Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara’s (4.01 ERA) last 5 straight starts have all resulted in a Miami victory by at least 2 runs, while Rockies starter Sean Sullivan (8.25 ERA) has allowed a staggering 11 runs across his last two outings. I’ve gotta take the visitors to cover the RL in this spot, and I'll toss a sprinkle on the Over to hit.
CHI White Sox v BAL Orioles: I’ve gotta roll with the visitors here. Sean Burke (3.71 ERA) has been in excellent form, and Shane Baz (4.31 ERA) has been…well, not. Burke’s only loss in his last 5 starts was against the LA Dodgers, and I don’t hate how Chicago’s offense has looked over the last week. My money’s on the underdog this evening.
LA Dodgers v Athletics: This total is too high – not a single one of Gage Jump’s last 5 starts have seen totals Over 10; I think he has the potential to keep the Dodgers batting lineup at bay. To be frank, Eric Lauer is the bigger liability at the moment, but he’s coming off of a nice outing against the Minnesota Twins (0 ERs). I’m on the Under to cash here.
