ARI Diamondbacks v COL Rockies: With Merrill Kelly (7.62 ERA) & Kyle Freeland (6.00 ERA) on the mound, I don’t doubt that both of today’s batting lineups will run up a total at Coors Field. The Rockies have bagged 12 runs over their last two outings (on the road!), I have to imagine they’ll get a considerable few past Arizona’s starter today at home. Meanwhile, Freeland has allowed a whopping 16 runs across his last 3 starts. Take the Over to cash here.
CIN Reds v CLE Guardians: 4 of Tanner Bibee’s (4.17 ERA) last 5 starts have seen 8 runs or less, and he plays a much better game at home than his overall ERA suggests. That said, none of his last 5 starts have resulted in a win for the Guardians, and 4 of Andrew Abbott’s (4.47 ERA) last 5 starts have resulted in a win for the Reds. To boot, Abbott hasn’t allowed a single run in either of his last two outings. I’m on the Under hit, but I’ll also take Cincinnati to pull off the upset for plus money.
