I don’t love either offense in this matchup, but both of today’s starters have allowed far too many runs over their last 5 starts for me to think this game has a shot at staying Under 8.5. Giants pitcher Trevor McDonald (5.46 ERA) has an ERA of 30.86 over the last week (somehow?!), and while Michael Lorenzen (6.46 ERA) has had a few solid outings recently, the Over has cashed in 4 of his last 5 starts. My money’s on a high-scoring affair this afternoon, friends.
