Jeffrey Springs (5.13 ERA) has been abysmal for the Athletics, friends. Springs allowed the Colorado Rockies to bag 6 runs off of him in his last start, and he’s allowed 15 ERs across his last 3. I’m no fan of the Angels bullpen, but Jose Soriano (2.79 ERA) is undoubtedly the better pitcher in this matchup. If LA wasn’t on the road, I dare say they’d be favoured here. It’s a bold play, but I’m rolling with the underdog to bag a win for a nice +140 this evening.
