ATL Braves v PIT Pirates: I can’t believe I’m saying this, but not one of Paul Skenes’ last 5 starts has resulted in a win for Pittsburgh. Skenes has allowed a whopping 11 runs in just his last two outings; I don’t doubt that the Braves batting lineup will get more than a few past him here. Atlanta has put at least 4 runs on the board in every one of their last 6 games; I feel like sports book is still holding on to the Paul Skenes of 2025 with this line. Take Atlanta to score at least 4 today, friends.

LA Angels v TEX Rangers: The Angels fare shockingly well against the Rangers; and seemingly well against starter Jacob deGrom (3.48 ERA). Texas has lost their last 3 straight encounters with Los Angeles, as well as their last matchup against Jose Soriano (3.42 ERA). You know I don't love the Angels bullpen, but the math checks out – I'm on the visitors to pull off the upset here for a nice return.
