Why These Picks?
NY Yankees v KC Royals: I really liked Geritt Cole’s (0.00 ERA) last outing…and who wouldn’t have? The man pitched 6 innings and only allowed 2 hits (0 ERs). And while Kansas City starter Noah Cameron (4.72 ERA) hasn’t exactly been terrible, his last 4 straight starts have resulted in losses for the Royals by at least 2 runs. Sports Book has the O/U set at 9.0 here, and despite only having pitched one game…it’s not because of Cole’s flawless ERA, or because of KC's struggling offense. I’ve gotta take the Yankees to complete the sweep and cover the RL.
SEA Mariners v Athletics: I’m rolling with the visitors today. Jeffrey Springs’ (4.11 ERA) last 4 straight starts have resulted in losses by at least 2 runs for the As, and Seattle starter Logan Gilbert (4.04 ERA) has been solid on the road. Take the Mariners to cover the RL this afternoon.
CIN Reds v NY Mets: I’m running it back. To be frank, I don’t even care who’s pitching (lol) – the Mets offense has been atrocious. Until fading them stops making me money, I’ll continue to do it. Take the Reds and their hot bats for plus money.
