Why These Picks?

MIN Timberwolves v CLE Cavaliers: I know the Timberwolves are playing their second game in two nights here, but they look phenomenal and have yet to lose a game this season. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers bagged just a very narrow win over Brooklyn a couple days ago, and gave up an astounding 25+ point lead to the 76ers in their first game of the season. I’m whole-heartedly on the Timberwolves to cover.

PHX Suns v OKC Thunder: I know it’s still early in the season, but the Suns looked terrible in their only road game so far (against the Portland Trail Blazers). Phoenix lost said road matchup by nearly 40 points to a team with far less fire power than the Thunder. Take OKC to cover at home.

DAL Cowboys v PHI Eagles: I typically love a Cowboys Over, but not today. The Dallas offense has been brutal, Dak Prescott can’t seem to remember how to throw ball into the hands of his own teammates (lol), Jalen Hurts is out and the Eagles will play with a backup QB…there are just too many variables that keep this matchup from seeing both squads score reliably. I’m on a low-scoring affair tonight.
