Why These Picks?
JAX Jaguars v CIN Bengals: This is arguably one of the best plays on the board in my opinion. The Bengals have cleared this milestone in 2 of their last 3 games, and while their offense is explosive, their defense still struggles to keep their opponents off the scoreboard. I imagine this will be great for today’s final total given that the Jags have put at least 34 points on the board in 2 of their last 3 outings. I’m on the Over to cash.
LA Rams v PHI Eagles: The Eagles looked terrible last week, friends. Though to be fair, after a strong start, the Rams are also coming off a rough upset loss to the Denver Broncos. I still have to go with the Rams in this matchup though; Matthew Stafford looked way better last week than Jalen Hurts did. In addition, star WR Puka Nacua will make his return today, while Philly WR DeVonta Smith is on the bench. Los Angeles just has more effective weapons in its arsenal than the Birds do right now, friends – take the Rams to cover.
NE Patriots v BUF Bills: There are quite a few Patriots fans in this community, so I know I’m going to catch all kinds of sh*t for saying this but…Drake Maye and company have been hot garbage since season start. Holy, I can’t even believe it – and it gets worse (somehow?) every week. And, despite having a trash start to last week’s game, Josh Allen still managed to pull out a win and cover the spread. This one’s a no-brainer in my opinion – take the Bills to cover at home.
MIA Dolphins v MIN Vikings: I know it seems crazy, but I think winless Miami will put up enough of a fight here to see the score go beyond 40 points (even without De’Von Achane in their lineup). Minnesota should win this game, make no mistake; their only home game so far was in Game 1 against the Packers and they put 39 points on the board all by themselves. Today? The weather is nice in Vikings territory, I won’t be surprised if they put more big numbers up. Take the Over to hit.
