DET Tigers v SEA Mariners: I’ve gotta roll with a higher-scoring affair here, friends. 4 of Framber Valdez’s (4.41 ERA) last 5 outings have found their way beyond 8 runs, and while Bryce Miller (2.80 ERA) is great at home, 4 of his last 5 starts have resulted in a Mariners loss. To boot, the Tigers’ offense has been wildly efficient for a couple weeks now; I’m not in a rush to bet against their fire power. I’m on the Over to cash.
SD Padres v ARI Diamondbacks: The sample size for Kohl Drake (4.05 ERA) isn’t massive - but the man allowed a mere 1 run in his last home start. On the other side, Walker Buehler (5.74 ERA) has brought in 4 straight victories for the Padres, but he’s allowed far more runs over his last few games than I’d like to see in a matchup like this. The Diamondbacks’ offense has really turned up for the second half of this season; I’m gonna put my money on the home squad to win tonight.
