To be frank, both of these squads have incredibly solid batting lineups – this total should have no issue finding itself in double-digit territory. I’m on the Over to hit this evening.
DET Tigers v TEX Rangers: Jack Flaherty has been wildly unreliable, friends – and as much as I like Detroit, I just can’t back them to win with him on the mound. Now make no mistake, I’m no huge fan of Kumar Rocker either, but 4 of his last 5 starts have brought about a victory for Texas. I’ll take the Rangers to pull off the upset at home advantage the Over to cash.
CHI White Sox v CLE Guardians: Both Burke & Messick are wildly capable arms, I don’t doubt that each can keep the other’s offense at bay. That said, Burke is Chicago’s best chance to avoid getting swept; I’m going to roll with the underdog this afternoon and take the White Sox to win.
