MIL Brewers v ATL Braves: I won’t overthink this game. Every single one of Jacob Misiorowski’s last 5 starts has resulted in a Brewers win by at least 2 runs, and only 1 of those 5 games went Over 7.5 (and it went to a mere 8 runs at Coors Field). My money’s on the Brewers to cover the RL and the Under to hit.
PIT Pirates v COL Rockies: The Pirates have cashed the Over in their last 3 straight games, and with Kyle Freeland (7.98 ERA) on the mound at Coors Field this evening, I don’t doubt this game will find at least 12 runs. Freeland has allowed a staggering 22 runs across his last 4 starts; the Over should cash and Pittsburgh should have no issue bagging a win.
LA Angels v Athletics: Jeffrey Springs (5.13 ERA) has been abysmal for the Athletics, friends. Springs allowed the Colorado Rockies to bag 6 runs off of him in his last start, and he’s allowed 15 ERs across his last 3. I’m no fan of the Angels bullpen, but Jose Soriano (2.79 ERA) is undoubtedly the better pitcher in this matchup. If LA wasn’t on the road, I dare say they’d be favoured here. It’s a bold play, but I’m rolling with the underdog to bag a win for a nice +140 this evening.
