CHI Cubs v NY Mets: Mets starter Kodai Senga (9.00 ERA) was brutal before getting put on the IL, and he’s been not-so-great since coming back. To be frank, I won’t be surprised if he gets pulled early. The Cubs offense seems to have found their stride again having put a staggering 32 runs in the bag over their last 3 outings (wtf?!) To boot, 4 of Shota Imanaga’s (4.26 ERA) last 5 starts have seen the Over hit. My money’s on a high-scoring affair this evening and I'll take Chicago to cover the RL, friends.
ATL Braves v SD Padres: You can’t convince me that a low-scoring game is probable with Grant Holmes (4.33 ERA) on the mound. The man is arguably the most ‘hittable’ starter on the Atlanta roster, and 4 of his last 5 outings have seen final scores of at least 9 runs. In addition, Michael King has allowed at least 3 ERs in every single one of his last 5 outings; both teams should put more than a few on the board here. Take the Over to cash.
