CIN Reds v PIT Pirates: I love Cincinnati with Chase Burns on the mound. Burns is a formidable 4-0 on the road, and against Pittsburgh starter Jared Jones (5.75 ERA), taking the Reds to win is the only play here in my opinion.
CHI Cubs v MIL Brewers: David Peterson (6.09 ERA) pitching for the Cubs? This should be a good day for Milwaukee, friends – especially with Kyle Harrison (2.50 ERA) on the mound at home. 4 of Harrison’s last 5 starts have resulted in a Brewers win, while 4 of Peterson’s last 5 starts have been losses by at least 4. Milwaukee’s batting lineup is no joke, I can’t imagine Peterson doesn’t struggle here. I’m on the Brewers to cover the RL for a nice pay day.
LA Dodgers v SD Padres: Randy Vasquez (4.17 ERA) is allowing far too many runs these days for me to entertain an upset, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto (2.65 ERA) has been the definition of reliable on the road. I’m on the Dodgers to cover the RL this evening.
