CLE Guardians v Athletics: Guardians starter Parker Messick (1.73 ERA) is elite. No joke, I’ve been waiting for this guy to start again just so I can confidently throw down on a Cleveland ML. Well friends, today’s the day. Messick is 3-0 this season, and while I don’t hate As starter Aaron Civale (3.23 ERA), the Athletics’ bullpen is atrocious in addition to Messick being the better arm. My money’s on Cleveland to bag another win this afternoon.
MIL Brewers v WAS Nationals: I’m on the Over here, friends. 4 of PJ Poulin’s last 5 starts have all seen at least 9 runs, and Brewers starter Logan Henderson brings a 9.00 ERA with him to the mound today. I say this game winds up being a shoot out from the get-go.
TOR Raptors v CLE Cavaliers: While neither of these squads has been able to win on the road in this series, I think the Raptors will – at the very least – come close this evening. Toronto’s last game in Cleveland finished within 5 points; I say tonight’s game finishes within an even narrower margin. Take the Raptors to cover.
