DEN Broncos v CAR Panthers: I think the Panthers are going to have a real tough time with the formidable Broncos defense, friends. Denver has pulled off some amazing wins against better teams, and Carolina has really struggled over the last couple weeks. I really can’t fathom that the Panthers do better against the Broncos defense than they did against Tampa’s. Take Denver to win by at least a FG this afternoon.

DET Lions v MIA Dolphins: I think this total falls just north of 50. Both defenses leave plenty to be desired, and the Dolphins should be able to put up more points with the home advantage. It’s a beautiful 82 degrees in Miami today; expect this encounter to be a high-scoring one. I’m on the Over to hit.

NY Jets v KC Chiefs: The abysmal Jets vs the Chiefs at home? Kansas City should be eager to put a healthy win in the bag here. The Chiefs have lost their last 2 games, I can’t think of a better opportunity for them to right the direction of their ship. Take the home squad to cover.

TB Buccaneers v CHI Bears: The Bears have put at least 31 points on the board in their last 3 straight games; they even managed to put 34 in the bag against the formidable Seattle Seahawks defense. On the other hand, they’ve allowed just enough points over those same outings to see the Over hit on all 3 occasions. My money’s on this game to see at least 48.
