PIT Steelers v CLE Browns: I read a comical stat this morning, friends. Ready? The Pittsburgh Steelers are just 2-10 on Thursday nights when playing on the road over the last 20 years. I’ll never forget the epic 2024 game in Cleveland that saw the Browns beat their Thursday night visitors in the snow (the Over cashed in that game, by the way…) But I digress. The Browns have actually won their last 4 straight meetings in Cleveland with the Steelers. For all their faults, they’ve also managed to bag upset wins over both the Carolina Panthers & Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past 2 weeks. The spread on this rivalry is unsurprising; if I had to guess the final score, I’d go 21-20 (for someone…) And, to the best of my knowledge, it’s a sunny 74°F in Cleveland today. I’ll roll with the home squad to cover, and sprinkle the Over to cash.
EDM Oilers v VAN Canucks: I'm running this play back. The Edmonton Oilers will undoubtedly be hellbent on revenge, and both teams allowed 5 goals/piece in their last matchup. Lankinen (4.86 GAA) will get the start again for the Canucks, while Devon Levi is 'probable' to get his first start of the season for Edmonton. I'm on the Over to hit.
