Why These Picks?
South Carolina v Florida: After taking a rough loss last week to Missouri, I suspect the Florida offense will be highly motivated to show out here at home. I say I often (you know I do…) but I love a good high-scoring Gators game. None of Florida’s 5 games so far have seen less than 55 points, and South Carolina hasn’t allowed fewer than 35 points in any of their last 3 encounters with tough-to-beat teams. I’m on the Over to cash, and on Florida to cover here.
Georgia v Alabama: Both of these squads have wildly capable offenses, and both are presently undefeated. I fully expect this game to be a monumental shootout despite each team bringing solid defense to the table. Take the Over to hit, friends.
ANA Ducks v CAL Flames: I know the Ducks are on a back-to-back here, but they’re 4-1 in their last 5 with the Flames, and they looked great against the Winnipeg Jets yesterday. To boot, Calgary is presently 0-4 on the season (lol). This pick is simple – take the better team to win this evening, folks.

Putting 2+ points in the bag almost seems automatic for Connor McDavid at this point. And, given that he's scored at least one goal in each of his last 3 straight games, betting on him to snag an assist or 2nd goal seems like the safest bet in hockey at the moment.
