Why These Picks?

CHI Bears v GB Packers: The Packers have looked abysmal since season start, friends. Going into today’s meeting with the Bears, their only victories have been by a mere field goal, and were over the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers and NY Jets. Meanwhile, Chicago has won 3 of their last 4 games, all of their wins have been by double digits, and neither of their backup QBs seem to have any issue stepping into Caleb Williams’ shoes. I’ll take the Bears to bag a win on the road here and cover the 2.

CLE Browns v NY Jets: The Jets are awful…at home, and on the road. If they manage to stay in this game, I think it ends within a single point. And while the Browns are 3-1, I still think they’ve got some work to do before I start betting on them to win games outright on a regular basis. I’m on Cleveland to, at the very least, cover in this spot.

NY Giants v WAS Commanders: Every one of Washington’s games so far this season has cleared a final total of 42 points; their defense leaves plenty to be desired, I’m surprised this line is set so low. The Giants have also made it clear that they can score and win against teams in a straight shootout (Dallas, Arizona…). I’m on the Over to cash today.

DET Lions v ARI Cardinals: The Lions have yet to play a game that sees Under 55 points, and Arizona has allowed a staggering 30 points in each of their last 3 outings. Betting on a low-scoring affair makes little to no sense here – take the Over to hit.
