Why These Picks?

TB Buccaneers v DAL Cowboys: Every Cowboys game so far this season has cashed the Over, friends; I don’t think tonight’s encounter will be any exception. The only reason I think the book has a slight lean towards the Under is because Tampa QB Baker Mayfield is sitting this one out, and the backup rookie may not deliver enough to see this game crack 49 points. That said, the Buccaneers are 0-4, preparation for this week’s game was likely operating in ‘we’re desperate for a win’ mode. Fun fact: Tampa is just 2-13 in Dallas, but with the Cowboys being so terrible at stopping opposing run game, I’m not sure Jalon Daniels will have to do a whole lot. Don’t be surprised if Bucky Irving has a career game here. I’m on the Over to hit this evening, and I’ll toss a sprinkle on the Cowboys to cover.
