BAL Orioles v COL Rockies: Rockies starter Tanner Gordon (5.38 ERA) is carrying an abysmal 7.89 ERA at home, friends – and to be frank, I’m not really surprised considering Coors Field is “home”. At the time of writing, Baltimore has yet to select a starting pitcher, but I don’t doubt that their offense is perfectly capable of running up a total in this spot. I’ll take the Orioles to put at least 6 on the board.
SEA Mariners v BOS Red Sox: George Kirby (4.02 ERA) has been abysmal on the road. Kirby has allowed 11 runs over just his last 2 games away from home, I’m not in any rush to back him. Payton Tolle is in far better form, and 4 of his last 5 outings have lead to a Red Sox victory. I’m on Boston to cover the RL this evening.
