TB Rays v TOR Blue Jays: Friends, I hate that I’m saying this but Kevin Gausman (4.33 ERA) has been rough, and Drew Rasmussen hasn’t been much better. While both starters are capable of pitching a lights out game so-to-speak, neither of them has been living up to their full potential. Gausman’s last 5 straight starts have resulted in a Blue Jays loss, and Rasmussen has allowed a staggering 11 runs over just his last 2 trips to the mound. I’m on the Over to cash this evening.
WAS Nationals v COL Rockies: This is a lot of runs – but between the Nationals playing their bullpen and Michael Lorenzen starting for Colorado at Coors Field, I don’t think these teams will have any problem crushing 14. I won’t overthink this one – the line is where it is for a reason. I’m on the Over to hit.
