COL Rockies v NY Yankees: The Yankees offense has finally turned up, friends – and against Ryan Feltner (5.91 ERA), I think they can get 6 runs on the board. Feltner is just 1-6 on the road, and 3 of his last 4 starts have seen opponents put at least 6 runs in the bag. I’ve gotta put my money on New York to score at least 6 for the plus money return.
PIT Pirates v CHI White Sox: I’ve gotta be honest, I have no clue how Chicago isn’t favoured to win this game. Hagen Smith is now a starter and has been pitching lights out; the man’s last 5 straight outings (as part of the BP…) have resulted in a White Sox win, and he hasn’t allowed a single run over 9 innings across any of those 5 trips to the mound. In short? I like his chances here. To boot, Pirates starter Jared Jones (4.46 ERA) is nothing to write home about with 4 of his last 5 starts resulting in a loss for Pittsburgh. I’ll toss a sprinkle on Chicago to bag the win.
