MIN Twins v DET Tigers: The Tigers bullpen vs Dean Kremer (5.81 ERA)? I can’t imagine a universe where this game sees less than 8 runs. Kremer’s last 4 straight outings have resulted in a total of 11+ runs. This pick doesn’t require a whole lot of explanation – my money’s on a high-scoring affair.
CHI Cubs v MIL Brewers: The Brew Crew just keeps paying, friends. And with Jacob Misiorowski (1.97 ERA) on the mound at home today, I imagine the gravy train will continue. Cubs starter David Peterson’s (5.39 ERA) last 3 outings have resulted in a loss for Chicago by at least 2 runs. In fact, Peterson’s last start was against Milwaukee and he allowed 6 to get by him. I’m not in the business of betting against the Brewers offense with their resident Ace on the mound, so I’ll take the home squad to cover the RL today.
