TOR Blue Jays v NY Yankees: The Blue Jays are opting to go with their bullpen today, and to be frank, Yankees starter Carlos Rodon (5.63 ERA) hasn’t been my favourite for a while now. I think both squads put at least 4 on the board this evening given the capable batting lineups and who will be on the mound; my money’s on the Over to hit.
MTL Canadiens v CAR Hurricanes: The Hurricanes have been on a particularly long break, and that might not bode well for them this evening. Pricing Montreal at +165 feels wildly out ‘out to lunch’ so to speak, especially since they’ve won their last 4 straight meetings with Carolina. I’m on the visitors to bag a win and pull off the upset, but I’ll also toss a sprinkle on the Over to cash.

Reasoning: The Knicks managed to cover at home in Game 1 even after returning from a 20-pt deficit; I doubt they'll fall that far behind a second time here, and the Cavaliers will be eager to makeup for the embarrassment they suffered in that same game. In addition, these post-season games always face a high probability of seeing OT – I'll take the Over to hit and the Knicks to grab another home cover. Re: Braves/Marlins, while I like Sandy Alcantara, the Braves batting lineup is just far and away the bigger powerhouse. I'll take Atlanta to bag a win.
