Why These Picks?

BUF Bills v LA Rams: The Bills have covered +3.5 in all of their last 5 meetings with the Rams (Buffalo won outright in 3 of those 5). In addition, Josh Allen & company have covered that spread in all 4 of the games they’ve played so far this season. Despite LA having the home advantage today, there isn’t much of an argument that supports a Rams victory by more than a field goal. For this reason, my money’s on the visitors to cover.

OTT Senators v NJ Devils: This may be an unpopular opinion, but I love Ottawa to pull off the upset in this spot. The Senators haven’t allowed more than 2 goals in 4 of their last 5 games, and the Under has cashed in those same 4 outings. Lastly, with Linus Ullmark (1.34 GAA) being an impressive 4-0 on the season so far, betting against him doesn’t make a ton of sense. My money’s on Ottawa to bag the win, and on the Under to hit.
