Why These Picks?

DET Pistons v NY Knicks: The Knicks have lost 3 straight games now, whereas Detroit has outright won all of their matchups so far (against some formidable opponents…). New York will be eager to bag a victory at home tonight, but I have no doubt the Pistons keep it close after managing to hold the 76ers to just 93 points. Take the visitors to cover and the Under to hit this evening, friends.

SAC Kings v SA Spurs: It’s a big number, but Sacramento has yet to show that they possess any solid defensive capabilities this season. The Kings have allowed at least 120 points in every game they’ve played so far; if the Grizzlies can put 123 in the bag against Sacramento, I can’t imagine San Antonio falling short of this milestone. I’m on the Spurs to put at least 126 on the board tonight.
