I admit, my First Cup of coffee is coming at everyone a bit late today – but this first cup is a good one, as we locked down a picks sweep last night (4/4!)! My god, was that ever a nice way to finish the weekend. So far, we're on our way to finishing July in the green 💚 I'll have the spreadsheet up and out over the next day or two so you can all see where we're at as we approach the finish line. Since yesterday's games finished so early, I ended up starting the new season of Quarterback on Netflix 😅! If you haven't started that series...I highly recommend it. No, Netflix is not paying me to say this, but it's incredibly cool to see how all the different QBs are living their lives, going through their processes...etc. A warning: it will make you miss football season LIKE CRAZY! I'm so ready to get back to my Sunday Caesars (or rather, Bloody Marys...) and "7 hours of commercial-free" degenerate-ness. Anywho, on to today's play...

This total is set where it is for a reason, friends – and I love that it’s currently sitting at even money. The Blue Jays haven’t won any of Max Scherzer’s (10.23 ERA) last 5 starts, and the man has allowed a whopping 12 runs over just his last two outings.  Meanwhile, Washington pitcher Andrew Alvarez (4.22 ERA) has allowed a healthy number of runs at home. CLE Guardians v TB Rays: I won’t be betting against Tampa Bay starter Nick Martinez (2.59 ERA) anytime soon. Martinez has been flawless for the majority of this season, and his last 5 straight outings have resulted in a Rays victory.
