April 9, 2026: POTD Streak Ends — the Heater Lives On 🔥💰

April 9, 2026

Tonight was another fire night, friends! Am I bummed out that our Pick of the Day missed? Yes. But, we still cashed 3/4 of tonight's Picks, and 3/4 of tonight's Player Props – so on that front, I'm thrilled 😊 ! Everyone came out of this day green (yet again!) The POTD streak may have ended at 8-0, but the heater is still hot 😉

For those curious, here's what we had tonight:

Picks (3/4)

-CHI Bulls v WAS Wizards Under 248.5 (-110) ✅

-HOU Rockets 4.0 (-110) ✅

-COL Avalanche -1.5 (-120) ✅

-PHI 76ers v HOU Rockets Over 225.5 (-110) (*Pick of the Day)

Player Props (3/4)

-Kevin Durant Over 37.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists (-105) ✅

-Karl-Anthony Towns Over 14.5 Assists & Rebounds (+100) ✅

-Nathan McKinnon Anytime Goal Scorer (-130) ✅

-Jordan Eberle 3+ Shots On Goal (+205) ❌

Parlay (+461) (Miss)

-CHI Bulls -6.5 (-110) ✅

‍-NY Knicks -4.5 (-110) ✅

-GS Warriors ML (-185) ❌

A couple of gripes for the evening... First: I'm choked that Steph Curry got ruled out last minute for the Warriors. Our parlay was looking so promising; as soon as I saw that he wasn't playing I was like, "F*#@!* 😂 (pardon my language...)

Second: That Rockets/76ers game should've EASILY cashed the Over. The total was projected to hit 240.5 at half-time, and then the Rockets completely disappeared in the second half – despite Philadelphia making a late push. Unbelievable. For a hot second there, I thought Houston was going to blow the spread too after having a 25-point lead. A crazy game – but at the very least, I'm glad the Rockets held on for us.

Alright friends, that's all I've got for tonight! Tomorrow, we start a new Pick of the Day streak. And, on a positive note, we're still 8-1 on the month 😜 Let's keep the money coming.

As always, I'll see you all bright and early to conquer the books.

April 9, 2026: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays (Premium) 🏀🏒

April 9, 2026

Today's Picks

-CHI Bulls v WAS Wizards Under 248.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-PHI 76ers v HOU Rockets Over 225.5 (-110) | 0.5 Units

-HOU Rockets 4.0 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-COL Avalanche -1.5 (-120) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

CHI Bulls v WAS Wizards: This match up may very well be a total repeat of the game they played against each other just a couple days ago. Not much has changed for either squad, and the game was a total blow out. Will Washington be eager to clap back? Perhaps. But none of the last 6 meetings between these two managed to fall North of 248. I’ll toss a sprinkle on the Under to hit again.

PHI 76ers v HOU Rockets: 9 of the last 10 meetings between these two teams have fallen North of 226, friends. The Sixers put at least 115 points on the board in all 10 of those encounters, and with their starting 5 coming into this game healthy, it’s tough to say they won’t again. While the last meeting between these two found itself in OT, the game total still managed to hit 230 in regulation. As for the home squad, Houston’s offense is more than capable at home and they’ve won their last 7 straight games. I do think they bag a win here, but the data has me taking the Over tonight.

In regards to a winner, at this point in time, the Rockets are far too efficient for Philly to take down in my opinion; I won’t be surprised if Houston takes this one by double-digits. I’m on the home team to cover.

FYI friends: This line is literally moving faster than I can post it everywhere today – I'd say playable up to 228.0! I think this game lands at 230/231.

CGY Flames v COL Avalanche: Colorado’s last meeting with the Flames was an absolute dumpster fire for Calgary. To boot, the Flames’ performance on the road continues to slide down the tubes (lol). The only time I’ve even kind of entertaining a Flames win is if they’re playing on their own ice. I’m wholly on the Avs to pick up a solid home victory here.

April 8, 2026: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays (Premium) ⚾️🏀

April 8, 2026

Today's Picks

-ORL Magic -7.0 (-110) | 0.5 Units

-POR Trail Blazers v SA Spurs Under 229.0 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-STL Cardinals v WAS Nationals Over 8.5 (-115) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

MIN Timberwolves v ORL Magic: The Timberwolves have dropped 3 of their last 4 games, friends. And to be fair, they’ve been playing some tough teams…but losing to the 76ers by double digits is where I draw the line. The Magic have won 4 of their last 5 outings, and stomped a formidable Detroit defense by a solid margin just a couple of days ago. Orlando’s most recent meeting with the Timberwolves was just last month in Minnesota – the visitors won by 27. With the Timberwolves coming into this game down some of their best players, on the road, and on a back-to-back...I’ve gotta put my money on the Magic to cover this evening.

POR Trail Blazers v SA Spurs: I’ll be honest – this game could go either way simply because both teams are perfectly capable of putting points on the board… But I like a low-scoring affair. The Trail Blazers have managed to stay under 229 in 3 of their last 4 outings, and the last 4 straight meetings between these two squads have either limbo’d under this number or hit it bang on. Portland isn’t nearly as dominant on the road, and the Spurs' defense is top-tier. I’ll toss a sprinkle on the Under to cash.

STL Cardinals v WAS Nationals: While I do like Michael McGreevy better than Miles Mikolas, his performance on the road so far this season has been rough. McGreevy is sporting a 2.73 ERA overall, but a 5.79 ERA on the road. The sample size at the moment is small, I know – but Washington has also been putting a wild number of runs on the board lately (the Over has cashed in their last 6 straight games). I can’t imagine this encounter sees less than 9 – I’m on the Over to hit.
