While I love how tonight’s visitors have looked this season, the Hornets lost by 15 to Boston just last week in Charlotte. My money’s on the Celtics to win by at least 5 here, friends. As for the total, only 1 of the last 5 meetings between these teams has managed to make it into 220+ territory – I’ll toss a sprinkle on the Under to cash.

CHI Bulls v WAS Wizards: Both of these teams have been atrocious. Full stop. Chicago has allowed their opponents to put at least 120 points on the board in each of their last 8 game, while the Wizards have allowed their competitors to do the same in their last 6. This matchup is going to be ugly, I’ll level with you – but Washington is better at home and the Bulls have been brutal on the road. I’ll take the Wizards to cover here.

In addition, we all know that the Nuggets have little to no issue putting points on the board at home. With Denver having scored at least 130 in 4 of their last 5 games and their last meeting with the Trail Blazers falling just North of tonight’s projection, I’ve gotta put my money on the Over to hit this evening.

PHI 76ers v SA Spurs: The Spurs’ last encounter with the 76ers on March 3 saw San Antonio win by 40+ in Philadelphia. Granted, the Sixers are now fully healthy, but the Spurs are a far too well-oiled machine at this point for that to yield massive results in my opinion. Philly being a full squad again might keep them from getting stomped by 40 points, but at this stage I think it’s a far cry from keeping this game within a mere 4 baskets. I’m on the Spurs to cover.

TB Lightning v BUF Sabres: The Lightning have put 9 goals in the bag over just their last two games, and they’ve won 4 of their last 5. In addition, 3 of the last 4 Buffalo home games have seen 7 goals. While I haven’t loved the Sabres’ offense over their last couple of road games, I do think they’ll pull it together here at home. To boot, all of their meetings with Tampa Bay this season have cashed the Over. My money’s on a high-scoring affair, friends.

That said, they’ve also shown us that no matter how badly they’re beating their opponent on their own court, slowing down isn’t really an option. Oklahoma City crushed the Lakers a couple days ago and still put 139 points in the bag. To boot, the Jazz have allowed their opponents to score at least 130 points in 6 of their last 7 outings. I’m wholly on the Thunder to put 131 on the board here.

IND Pacers v CLE Cavaliers: The Pacers have cashed the Over in 9 of their last 10 outings, friends. Betting on Indiana to play a high-scoring affair has been one of the most profitable bets in the NBA over the last few weeks. With the Cavaliers having put at least 118 points on the board in 3 of their last 4 games, this total is very achievable given that the Pacers are allowing at least as many per game these days. I’ll ride the “Over” train until it stops cashing.
