May 24, 2026: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays ⚾️🏀🏒

May 25, 2026

Today's Picks

-TEX Rangers v LA Angels Over 8.0 (-115) | 0.5 Units

-COL Avalanche v VGS Golden Knights Under 6.0 (-115) | 0.25 Units

-OKC Thunder v SA Spurs Over 219.5 (-110) | 0.5 Units

Why These Picks?

TEX Rangers v LA Angels: I’ve gotta roll with a high-scoring affair here again. The Angels have proven that they have no issue with the Texas pitching staff, and LA starter Reid Detmers allowed a ridiculous 8 runs in his last outing. I’m also no fan of MacKenzie Gore to be frank; while he hasn’t been terrible, 4 of his last 5 trips to the mound have seen the Over cash. Take this game to see at least 9 runs.

COL Avalanche v VGS Golden Knights: Both games in this series so far have seen 6 goals or less; with the Golden Knights taking both games in Colorado and their defense proving to be formidable even in the face of an offense like that of the Avalanche, betting on a low-scoring affair is the only play that makes sense here. My money’s on the Under to hit.

OKC Thunder v SA Spurs: The Thunder are at that point in these post-season matchups that they were at for the majority of the regular season. Yes, we’re returning to the reality in which Oklahoma City’s offense just puts too many points on the board for the Over not to cash. The Thunder put 122+ points on the board in their last two meetings with San Antonio without the need for OT, and the Spurs put 122 on the board in Game 1. In short? One of these teams can undoubtedly be counted on to push this total past 220. I’m on the Over to hit.

May 24, 2026: Morning Recap & Resources 😌🛎️

May 25, 2026

Good morning, all – I hope you’re up and caffeinated ☕️! I wanted to do a quick recap of last night before today’s picks go out. Why? I’m not quite sure because the evening was incredibly “mid” 😂 Picks cashed 2/4, and Player Props came through nice at 2/3 (shoutout to Prop of the Day!)

For those curious, here’s what we had:

Picks (2/4)

-CLE Guardians v PHI Phillies Under 7.5 (-110) ✅

-MIA Marlins ML (-115) ✅

-WAS Nationals v ATL Braves Over 8.5 (-115) ❌

-MTL Canadiens v CAR Hurricanes Over 6.0 (-105) (*Pick of the Day) ❌

Player Props (2/3)

-Jarrett Allen Over 12.5 Points (-110) (*Prop of the Day) ✅

-Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105) ✅

-Zack Wheeler 7+ Strikeouts (+130) ❌

Parlay (+422) (Miss)

-ATL Braves ML (-165)

-LA Dodgers v MIL Brewers Over 9.0 (-105)

-MTL Canadiens +1.5 (-150)

Am I feeling the need to vent? Perhaps. The Braves getting shutout by the Washington Nationals felt like such a farce – Jake Irvin decided to do his very best to throw a no-hitter (who’d have thought?!) Not in a million years would I have imagined ‘2-0 Nationals’ to be the final score of that game. Ultimately, the Atlanta loss was the only thing that tanked last night’s parlay.

As for our Pick of the Day, sadly Montreal & Carolina went into OT at 2-2, so our Over was a bust.

The highlight of last night was undoubtedly Jarrett Allen bagging 12 points before half-time, making our Prop of the Day sweat-free money 💰👊🏽

Betting has been a bit of a roller coaster this last couple of weeks (playoff season tends to do that…), and while I know it’s par for the course, it’s time for me to stress the importance for bankroll management and unit sizes 🤓

Track your bets, friends! And feel free to lower your unit size or go a little lighter when times feel a bit turbulent. If you’re looking for some tools to assist you on your betting journey, check out my resources below:

May 23, 2026: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays (Premium) ⚾️🏀🏒

May 25, 2026

Today's Picks

-CLE Guardians v PHI Phillies Under 7.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-WAS Nationals v ATL Braves Over 8.5 (-115) | 0.25 Units

-MIA Marlins ML (-115) | 0.25 Units

-MTL Canadiens v CAR Hurricanes Over 6.0 (-105) | 0.5 Units

Why These Picks?

CLE Guardians v PHI Phillies: Starter Zack Wheeler (1.99 ERA) has allowed a mere 4 runs over his last 3 starts, and while Slade Cecconi (5.16 ERA) had a rough start to the season, he’s also allowed just 4 runs over his last 3 outings. As long as one of these pitchers doesn’t decide to completely sh*t the bed so to speak, this game should fall short of 7 runs. My money’s on the Under to cash here.

WAS Nationals v ATL Braves: 4 of Jake Irvin’s (5.79 ERA) last 5 starts have seen totals of at least 9 runs. While he’s just a tad better on the road than he is at home, the man has allowed 11 runs and 3 HRs over his last 3 outings. This should bode extremely well for Atlanta’s offense; I’m on the Over to hit.

NY Mets v MIA Marlins: Guys, I can’t stand the Mets right now. I whole-heartedly believe they’re the most unreliable team in MLB right now, and starter Max Meyer (2.85 ERA) has been the definition of solid for Miami with a perfect 4-0 to his name. I’m rolling with the Marlins to bag a win this evening.

MTL Canadiens v CAR Hurricanes: The Canadiens have cashed the Over in 3 of their last 4 outings, and while they did the majority of the scoring in their last meeting with Carolina, I don’t doubt that the Hurricanes will put more than 2 in the bag tonight. Montreal had a nice advantage over their opponent in the last game given that they hadn’t played in nearly 2 weeks, but I’m not sure just how long that “rust” will last. I think both squads put at least 3 on the board here, so I’ll take the Over to hit.

Today's Player Props

-CLE Guardians v PHI Phillies: Zack Wheeler 7+ Strikeouts (+130) | 0.20 Units

-NY Knicks v CLE Cavaliers: Jarrett Allen Over 12.5 Points (-110) | 0.25 Units (*Prop of the Day)

-LA Dodgers v MIL Brewers: Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105) | 0.20 Units

---

Today's Parlay(s):

Reasoning: The Braves hold a significant pitching advantage in their matchup; I'll be stunned if they don't snag a win over the Nationals with Jake Irvin out there. While Dodgers starter Roki Sasaki hasn't been terrible, 4 of his last 5 starts have seen totals well beyond 9 runs. Lastly, the Canadiens look real good lately, friends – I'm curious to see how long that rust sits on Carolina. Even if they bag a win tonight, I do think Montreal keeps it within 1.

Parlay (+422) | 0.20 Units

-ATL Braves ML (-165)

-LA Dodgers v MIL Brewers Over 9.0 (-105)
