Good morning, all! Weekend sports is upon us...let's hope the sports betting powers that be are in a generous mood 😆 Speaking of generosity – I can't believe the Detroit Tigers pulled off that victory last night! The slate was looking a little dicey as the evening was coming to a close, so I'm thrilled that our largest wager (Pick of the Day) cashed. I was out for dinner last night, and I turned my phone over during the 8th inning to see the Angels up 1-0! The "Wtf?!" look on my face must've been apparent, because the table thought I had gotten horrible news (lol, I mean the news wasn't good?) By the time I turned it over again, the Tigers were up 2-1 in the 9th! And, not to make this all about me for a moment, but fun fact: It's my Birthday tomorrow 🎉 Why am I telling you this? Because every time I've had a Birthday since starting Belle's Picks, I've thought, "I can't believe our community is X years old!" This is our third year battling the books, friends. On the other side, 4 of Christian Scott’s (3.17 ERA) last 5 starts have brought about a victory for the Mets, and he’s even better on the road than his overall ERA suggests. Interestingly, Scott’s last encounter with Philadelphia resulted in a 6-2 win for New York.
